The Rosamary Hadley Scholarship
The Rosamary Hadley Scholarship was created to honor the first recipient of the Hadley-Hawthorne-Dickey-Walden (HHDW) Family Reunion Association scholarship. Captain Rosamary Hadley (1982 – 2016) received her bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees, served as a member of the United States Air Force and was a member of the HHDW Family Reunion Association board. During Rosamary’s lifetime, she set an example of what a commitment to scholastic achievement can do to benefit an individual and those that we encounter along our life journey.
Rosamary was a scholar that served as the archetype of academic success and commitment. The HHDW Rosamary Hadley Scholarship will benefit those that have shown themselves to be the next group of leaders.

Requirements:
GPA: 3.0
Essay: 500 Words
The application requirements are a 500 word essay and a 3.0 GPA. For the essay, you are charged with answering the question: How will you use your education to better your community and how will your education contribute to you furthering the legacy of the HHDW Family Reunion Association?
This essay topic is inspired by the person the scholarship is named for, Rosamary Hadley. Rosamary was a family member that served in multiple capacities for the HHDW Family Reunion Association and also shared her love of the family with the generation that followed her. Using her academic talents, innate abilities, love of family and desire to see others do well, she assisted everyone she encountered. Especially her family.
